KIDS DAY

The South West Mobile County Chamber of Commerce at 5055 Carol Plantation Road will hold its Annual Kids Day Saturday, July 27th from 9am until 1pm. This western-themed event is held in order to prepare local children for upcoming school year by providing backpacks filled with school supplies. There will be snow cone and ice cream trucks, vendors, bouncy houses, a beach ball drop and more. Donations of school supplies, water, and old blue jeans are needed. DRUG AWARENESS DAY

Big Fish Ministries is hosting the International Overdose Drug Awareness Day Saturday, August 31st from 10am until 2pm in Heritage Park in downtown Foley. There will be Food Trucks, Vendors, and more. Speakers will share information to bring awareness to the community and find out how to help stop drug overdose. Central Faith Assembly of Silverhill at 16169 Silverhill Ave will have Friday Night Youth Service August 2nd at 7pm. Parents are welcomed as well as the church will be ministering to the youth before the new school year begins, praying for God's divine protection over them and speaking a blessing over them.
